Measurement Chart

KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROGRESS as you overcome challenges, change routines and form new habits.  Not only is it unbelievably rewarding to have evidence of your hard work, but in times when I felt stagnant and found myself at a plateau in my weight loss, I turned to the data I had documented on my Measurement Chart and Food Journal.  Seeing my past progress helped to lift me out of my lows and gave me the strength to keep pushing on.

As horrifying as they may seem, don’t be afraid of the numbers on the scale.  Accept them.  Acknowledge where you’re at and make this your starting point.  To even make a start is a big deal, so be proud of yourself.  And, don’t forget to acknowledge your efforts, pat yourself on the back, and even treat yourself every-so-often.  For me, this reward has come in the form of a kid-sized ice cream cone at Baskin Robbins, some acrylic paints, a pair of running shoes, and a new outfit!

Good luck.  You can do this! 🙂

Thanks Zan… for caring enough to even read my writing, for always being excited when there’s something new, and for giving valued feedback (and looking out for me). If I haven’t said it, your continued support means the world to me… Thank you, thank you:) ❣️
